WHEN: WEDNESDAY, MAY 17th @ 1:30 to 3:30 PM
The Georgia GIS Coordinating Committee will meet May 17th, 2017 from 1:30 – 3:30 at GEMSHA (Georgia Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency) at Building 2. Directions are attached. The featured presenter will be Randal Hale. He will be presenting on QGIS Las Palmas and new open source GIS tools.
Randal Hale is the owner of North River Geographic Systems Inc. He started in the GIS Field back in 1992 with the Federal Gov’t. He left Federal life in 2008 to be a consultant. He currently works with a wide array of software to provide an answers to geospatial problems with most of the effort being centered about Open Source Software. He’s active in the QGIS community as well as several other areas in the OSGEO realm. NRGS is also partners with Fulcrum, a mobile data collection app.
